Holy Trinity CofE

Admission & School Organisation

As a local authority school, all admissions to the school must be arranged with WSCC. Please see https://www.westsussex.gov.uk/learning/schools_ages_4-16/school_places.aspx

Details of contacts and the admissions process can be found in our Admissions Policy. This can be downloaded from the key information page of this website.

Our school caters for children from the ages of four to eleven. Our admission number of 13 means that we admit approximately half a class each year which means that we typically have two year groups in each class. With small year groups, numbers in each class can fluctuate year on year.

Our infant classes are called Robins and Puffins.  The children in these classes are made up of children in  reception, Year 1 and Year 2, otherwise known as Foundation and Key Stage One. The infant department has two classrooms, and a large outdoor working area. Depending on the activity our infants may be in their own year groups or in mixed age groups and working in either classroom or outside. The flexibility helps our infants with their social interaction and gives them the ability to work with children at a similar stage of development.

The Junior classes, Key Stage 2, are Falcons and Eagles. Each junior class has access to an outdoor working area as well as their own classroom. Falcons are Year 3 and Year 4 and Eagles are Year 5 and Year 6.

The school is open from 8.40am to 3.15pm each day.  This amounts to 32.45 hours in a typical week.
