Falcons - Years 3 & 4
Welcome to Falcons, our junior class for Key Stage 2 pupils ages 7-9
Mrs Jameson (Mon and Tuesday) and Miss Beadle (Wed, Thurs and Fri) teach our Falcons class, and they are superbly supported by Mrs Heald and Mr Moore.
Moving up to the Juniors is such an exciting time for the children. They are ready to take more responsibility for their own learning and to really grow in their independence and decision-making skills.
Falcons are Green! We run the school eco club and love being outside. We often use the school's Wildlife Garden for our science sessions, and for one term every year, the class takes an afternoon a week to go and explore our local woods in a Forest School session.
We love history and enjoy travelling through time from prehistoric times right through to the Vikings. We often add to our learning with workshops and visitors. Falcons enjoy an exciting curriculum, full of interesting knowledge and skills and we always aim to link practical activities to technology and creative projects. Life in Falcons is never dull! Falcons also enjoy swimming weekly for one term at a local swimming pool.
