Results & OFSTED Rating

Holy Trinity Continues to Shine with a 'Good' OFSTED Rating.

We are pleased to announce that Holy Trinity Primary School has successfully retained its 'Good' OFSTED rating in our latest inspection. This is a fantastic outcome and is testament to the hard work and collaboration of every member of staff and across our whole school, especially given the changes we have faced since the last inspection.

The report has a lot to celebrate and rightly recognises all the things that make Holy Trinity the "vibrant and welcoming school with a big heart" that we all know and love. Please take a moment to read the full report here.

In terms of areas for development, OFSTED do mention our Early Years provision. However, it is important to clarify that they are not highlighting this as a major area of concern and there will be no monitoring or revisits in the near future. We are already taking action in this area and worked closely with national Early Years expert Dr Sue Allingham during the 2022-23 academic year to review and develop our provision. Her report is available here and will help us to continue our work to develop this area. We have also now published, at OFSTED request, our detailed planning and learning sequences for the Reception year, which you can access here. This will also be linked from our Robins class page, where there are lots of other exciting updates from the class too.

This is an achievement we can all be proud of. A massive thank you to every child, every member of staff, all our parents and our hardworking governors for helping to make Holy Trinity the school it is, where children are proud to learn.

School Performance Results

Please note - With a small number of students in a year group, the results of even a single pupil can significantly impact the school's overall percentages. For instance, in a class of just 10 students, one pupil's results account for 10% of the total. This means that a school's overall performance can fluctuate greatly from year to year, simply because of the specific needs, abilities, and circumstances of a few students. This sensitivity in the statistics doesn't necessarily reflect a change in the quality of teaching.
