Admission and School Organisation
Holy Trinity Lower Beeding is a local authority school. All admissions to the school must be through WSCC.
Contacts and the process of admissions can be found in our Admissions Policy document. This is available for download from the key information page of this website.
The school provides education for children between the ages of four and eleven. With an admission number of 13 this means we admit approximately half a class each year. We therefore typically have two year groups in each class. With small year groups, numbers in each class can vary from year to year.
Infant classes are called Robins and Puffins. The children in these classes are a mixture of children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, collectively known as Foundation and Key Stage One. The infant department has two classrooms, and a large outdoor working area. Activities dictate whether our
infants are in their own year groups or in mixed age groups and working in either classroom or outside. This flexibility allows our infants to develop their social interaction and gives them the opportunity to work with children at a similar stage of development.
Junior classes, Key Stage 2, are Falcons and Eagles. Each junior class has an outdoor working area as well as their own classroom. Falcons are Year 3 and Year 4 and Eagles are Year 5 and Year 6.
School is open from 8.40am to 3.15pm each day. This equals 32.45 hours in a typical week.
