Clubs, Trips & Wraparound Childcare
Exciting Learning Experiences at Holy Trinity
At Holy Trinity we aim to make learning come alive. We love to give our children the opportunity to experience first hand, real life experiences as often as possible. This has involved our children being visited in school by poets, artists, musicians and circus performers, all of whom have created special memories for our children.
We also like to get out and about. Our children go on day trips to places such as Preston Manor and the Imperial War Museum. Every year the whole school visits the theatre to see a pantomime, and our children take part in a range of community activities both in the village and around the Horsham area. We are also proud to offer a broad and balanced range of additional opportunities including learning Spanish, trying new sports, and learning to play a musical instrument.
Our curriculum enables children to develop academically and personally, enriching their social, health and emotional education. In Year 6 all our pupils have the opportunity to take part in a residential visit. This visit is a chance for them to increase their self-awareness, responsibility and teamwork skills through a variety of outdoor challenges.
Providing a varied and enriched curriculum means that we aim to give every child the opportunity to learn, to flourish and to succeed.
Wraparound Care
We are really excited to tell you that we have an external provider that provides a great wraparound service on site at our school. They offer a fantastic Breakfast Club which runs from 7.30am to 8.40am to get your children ready for the school day. And, in the afternoons, their After School Club runs from 3.15pm to 6.00pm.
These services are available at an additional cost from Wiz Kids. Please ask us if you would like more information, or to register.
Governments Holiday Activities and Food Scheme
In addition to this we also provide exciting activities throughout the school holiday period with a range of holiday clubs available with free placements on offer via the government's HAF scheme.
Exciting School Clubs
Although we are a lovely small school we really do try to provide our children with a broad variety of exciting school clubs. We have recently run multi-sports, guitar and woodwind clubs. Please note that there is a charge for clubs which are run by an outside agency.
We are always looking to enhance our children's experiences and the clubs we run are a huge part of that! If you have any questions about our wraparound care or our clubs please do get in touch.

Our School Trips & Activities
We love giving our children a full and varied programme of school trips to help bring their learning to life. These trips are a huge part of our curriculum and are great for helping every child grow and develop. The Education Act requires our school's Governing Body to have its own policy on charging, which you can find on our website. While schools can't technically charge for activities, we do ask parents for a voluntary contribution to help cover the costs of these trips and visits. Please know that there is absolutely no expectation for you to contribute. However, without this wonderful parental support, these enriching activities simply wouldn't be able to happen.
If you ever have any problems with paying for a trip, please get in touch with the Headteacher in advance and in confidence. We can then make other arrangements to cover the costs so that every child can take part. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
